The 2-Size Guarantee
Thrive Fit Incorporated · 2461 Queen Street East, Toronto, Ontario M4E 1H8 · Last updated 3 October 2026
Complete Fit Reset as agreed and if you don’t drop two clothing sizes in 8 weeks, we’ll continue coaching you at no additional charge until you do.
That’s how confident we are in the process. You do your part. We do ours. And if it takes longer than eight weeks, the extra coaching is on us.
As long as you attend your sessions, follow the nutrition framework as taught, complete the required workbook and check-ins and stay engaged with the process, the risk is on us, not you.
These are the complete terms of the Fit Reset 2-Size Guarantee. They are the same terms that appear as Schedule A of the Fit Reset Member Agreement.
What kind of guarantee this is
This is a results-backed coaching guarantee. It is not a money-back guarantee. There is no cash refund, and that is deliberate.
You are not buying eight weeks and hoping. You are buying coaching to a result. If it takes longer than eight weeks despite you doing your part, the additional coaching is at our cost. We do not benefit from it taking longer, and you do not have to worry about the clock running out before you get there.
Your statutory cancellation and refund rights are separate. They are a legal right and nothing in these terms affects them.
Who qualifies
Adults enrolled in the complete eight-week Fit Reset program, where:
- intentional fat loss is an appropriate goal for that person
- dropping two clothing sizes is a reasonable goal for that person
- nothing known at the initial assessment makes pursuing that result inappropriate
This is decided at the Body Reset Baseline or at the initial Fit Reset assessment, before you buy.
If two clothing sizes is not the right target for you, we tell you before you buy. It is never raised afterwards as a reason to deny this guarantee.
One exclusion. Fit Reset involves food tracking and a structured nutrition plan. We do not enrol, and this guarantee does not apply to, anyone with a current or recent history of disordered eating or an active eating disorder, or where a physician has advised against intentional weight loss.
When the eight weeks run
Your guarantee window runs for eight weeks from your cohort start date, not from the day you enrol.
Week 0 is the period between enrolling and your cohort starting. During Week 0 you train, store your garment, have your baseline photograph taken, receive your workbook and begin your sleep habit. Your nutrition plan begins with your cohort. Because the nutrition plan is what drives the clothing-size result, the clock starts when the nutrition starts.
Week 0 can run from nothing to about four weeks depending on when you enrol. Its length never counts for or against you, and Week 0 sessions are not counted in the attendance standard below.
What you have to do
Attendance · 22 of 24 sessions
Fit Reset includes 24 coached sessions during the eight-week guarantee window. You must complete at least 22 of them, roughly 90%. A rescheduled session that you complete still counts. Week 0 sessions are additional and are not counted either way.
This is not here to punish anyone for getting ill or having a real conflict. It is here to tell the difference between someone who completed Fit Reset and someone who turned up occasionally.
Participation · 80% of tracking and check-ins
Fit Reset is not 24 workouts. You also take part in the coaching process agreed with your coach:
- follow the agreed nutrition plan
- complete the required food and habit tracking
- attend the scheduled check-ins and accountability calls
- give your coach the information needed to assess your progress and adjust
- make a reasonable, good-faith effort on the agreed calorie, protein, activity, sleep and lifestyle targets where they apply
The standard is 80% of the agreed tracking and check-in requirements, plus genuine participation in the plan. It is explicitly not 100% compliance.
If your coach changes the prescription, you follow the updated plan. You are never held to the original one after it has been revised.
The seven required conditions
All are required. They are both the intervention and the evidence:
- Before and after photograph participation. The photograph stays private by default.
- Garment participation, including storing the selected garment at the studio.
- The Fit Reset workbook completed.
- Required session attendance and engagement.
- Nutrition and weekly habit compliance.
- Participation in the required accountability check-ins.
- Completion of the final assessment and outcome validation.
Who measures, and who decides
Your coach measures. Brian Kotoka signs off.
- Your coach performs the baseline record, the week 4 try-on and the week 8 final assessment, and records the result on your Outcome Record.
- Any guarantee decision requires Brian’s sign-off. Your coach does not grant a claim and does not decline one. Your coach records what happened.
- Any decision that you have not met the participation standard also requires Brian’s sign-off, and has to be supported by the attendance and check-in record rather than by anyone’s impression.
- The guarantee is never used as leverage during coaching. It is a promise, not a performance-management tool.
How two clothing sizes is measured
Everything is established and written down before the guarantee window starts. Nothing about what success means is decided afterwards.
Recorded at the start
- your reference clothing category and starting size
- the target garment, two sizes below, with brand, style and size recorded
- a photograph of the garment label
- your waist and hip measurements
- a body-composition baseline
Where your starting size is a range, or where the target garment cannot be sourced in the same brand, your coach records the closest reasonable equivalent and the reason, before the window starts.
What counts as a pass, defined in advance
You have achieved the result when you can wear the recorded target garment, fastened, comfortably, unassisted. Comfortably means you can sit, stand and move normally in it.
Your waist and hip measurements are recorded alongside as supporting evidence. They never override the garment test in either direction, not to deny a pass, and not to grant one.
Situations decided in advance
- You reach the target garment early. The result is achieved. It is recorded, the program continues to its end, and the target does not move.
- The garment is lost or damaged, or your shape has changed so that it is no longer a fair test. Brian selects a reasonable equivalent in writing, and any genuine ambiguity is resolved in your favour.
- You change your goal mid-program and your coach agrees in writing. The guarantee ends by mutual written agreement, and that is recorded.
- The result is borderline. Brian decides, and borderline goes to you.
The remedy
If you qualify, complete the required training, take part in the nutrition and coaching process, reach the end of your eight weeks and have not dropped the agreed two clothing sizes, then Thrive Fit continues coaching you at no additional charge until you achieve the two-size result.
- There is no predetermined maximum number of complimentary weeks.
- There is no cash refund, by design.
- The complimentary period ends when the agreed two-size result is achieved.
The four-week review
The complimentary period is reviewed every four weeks. At each review your coach records your attendance, tracking compliance and check-in participation for the preceding four weeks, and Brian confirms that it continues.
Continuing depends on you still meeting the same participation standard you met during your original eight weeks: 90% attendance, 80% tracking and check-ins. If you are, coaching continues and there is no further expiry. If you are not, the complimentary period ends, and you are told at the review, in advance. It never ends retroactively.
Interruptions
A legitimate life event is never used as a way to cancel your guarantee.
Where something materially affects your ability to safely pursue the original goal, the program and the guarantee are paused and resumed when you can safely take part again. That includes pregnancy, significant illness, surgery, a significant new injury, a major medical event, a physician-directed restriction from training or from intentional weight loss, and a significant medication change that materially affects body weight or composition.
A pause is recorded in writing with the date, and the remaining weeks resume from where they stopped.
The guarantee does end if you
voluntarily stop participating; repeatedly miss training beyond the attendance standard; stop completing the agreed coaching process; decline to provide the tracking or check-in information your coach needs; choose not to follow reasonable adjustments to your plan; or abandon the program.
This guarantee protects a client who does the program and does not get the result. It is not for someone who stops doing the program.
Raising a claim
Your result is formally reviewed at your eight-week reassessment. If the two-size target has not been met and you have satisfied the requirements, the complimentary coaching period begins at that point.
Raise any guarantee question at your final assessment, or within 7 days of completing your initial eight weeks. Once the complimentary period has begun there is no further expiry, subject to the four-week review above.
The Outcome Record
One record per client, completed by your coach and signed off by Brian. It is the evidence this guarantee is decided on, and you may ask to see yours at any time.
- Week 0. Starting reference size; target garment brand, style and size; label photograph; waist and hip; body composition; baseline photograph taken; garment stored; workbook issued; coach; date.
- Week 4. Try-on result; waist and hip; attendance to date; tracking compliance to date.
- Week 8. Final try-on result; waist and hip; body composition; attendance total; tracking and check-in compliance; after photograph taken; coach signature; Brian sign-off; outcome recorded.
- Each four-week review. Attendance; compliance; continue or end; Brian sign-off.
No Outcome Record, no guarantee decision. If Thrive Fit failed to record something it was responsible for recording, that failure is resolved in your favour.
Where these terms apply
These are the only terms of the 2-Size Guarantee. The promise above is stated in the same words everywhere it appears, on the Fit Reset page, in the sales conversation, at checkout, in advertising, and in your member agreement, and these terms travel with it every time.
If you have been shown a shorter version of the promise anywhere without these conditions beside it, these terms still govern, and we would like to know where you saw it.
The guarantee applies to the eight-week Fit Reset program only, not to Thrive 365 memberships. We do not guarantee an amount of weight or a rate of loss.
