This policy explains what Thrive Fit collects from people who use this website, what we do with it, and what you can ask us to do about it. What we collect

When you apply for a Body Reset Baseline, we receive what you type into the form: your name, email address, phone number and postal code, plus your answers to a short set of questions about what you are looking for and whether the program is likely to suit you. We ask for nothing beyond that, and we never take payment details through this website.

Some of those answers touch on your health and your goals. We treat them as private, we use them only to prepare for your appointment and to judge whether we can genuinely help, and they are never used to target advertising at you.

What the website records automatically

If you arrive from a Google ad, your browser carries a click identifier in the address. We store it for the length of your visit and attach it to your application, which is how we can tell which ads bring people who actually become members. Nothing about that identifier tells us who you are on its own.

Cookies and advertising

This site loads Google’s advertising tag. It sets cookies that let us measure which of our Google Ads led to an enquiry, and, where we have it switched on, show our ads again to people who have visited this site. Google explains its own use of that data at policies.google.com/privacy. You can turn off personalised Google ads at adssettings.google.com, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser whenever you like. The site works perfectly well without them.

If you arrived from an ad, the phone number shown on the page may be swapped for a Google forwarding number so that we can tell which ad produced the call. It rings us exactly as the normal number does.

How we watch how this website is used

We use a product analytics tool called PostHog to understand how people move through this site: which pages get read, how far down them people scroll, and where a page is confusing enough that somebody gives up. It records a replay of the pages you visit, in the way a screen recording would.

What you type into our form is deliberately hidden from those recordings. Your name, email, phone number, postal code and every answer you give are masked before the recording leaves your browser, so we can see that a form was being filled in without seeing what was written in it. We do not record the confirmation page at all, because your contact details appear in its address.

You can stop this by turning on Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in your browser, or by using an ad blocker, and the site will work exactly the same.

Who else handles your information

Our customer-management platform receives your application and holds our record of you, and its booking calendar is what appears on the confirmation page when you pick an appointment time. Google handles advertising measurement as described above. PostHog handles the website analytics described above. Our website host serves the pages. Each of them processes your information only to provide that service to us. We do not sell your information to anybody, and we disclose it otherwise only where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

If you become a member, we keep your records for as long as you train with us and for as long afterwards as tax and legal obligations require. If you enquire and nothing comes of it, we keep the enquiry so we recognise you if you come back, and you can ask us to delete it at any point.

What you can ask us to do

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email best@thrivefit.ca and we will action it. You can also tell us to stop contacting you, in any message or call, and that is the end of it.

If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date at the top.
