Personal training in Toronto
Semi-private coaching in The Beaches. Up to six people on the floor, every one on a different program written for them. You start with a private Baseline, and we tell you honestly whether we're the right fit.
Who this is for
Most people who walk in here have tried before. A gym membership that went quiet by March. A plan that worked until work got busy.
You aren't short of information. You're short of a system that survives a bad week.
What happens week by week
Three sessions a week, on your own program, with a coach on the floor the whole time. It isn't a class, and it is not you alone with a printout.
What you are left with
Strength you can measure, clothes that fit differently, and the part most people miss: knowing what to do on the week everything goes wrong.
Not only have I seen amazing physical results - I am stronger and leaner, but my energy levels have also soared. The supportive community here makes every workout fun, and I genuinely look forward to coming in.
What it costs, before we start
Membership is billed every two weeks and covers your programming, your sessions and your coach. The Baseline that comes first costs nothing.

What members say
As someone who has never consistently exercised, been very intimidated and not confident about going to a gym her whole life... I haven't missed a single week.
During my first workout at Thrive, I lost my balance and fell. Rather than embarrassment, the three other people there shared they had all fallen at the beginning.
I'm a 65 year old woman who, for the last 10 years or so, was exercising mainly by walking... Brian, Stephanie and Luis are amazing. They know their stuff inside out.
Book a private Baseline
Tell us what you're working on. You'll hear back within one working day, from one of us, not an assistant.
Before you book
Anything not covered here, just ask. We answer email properly, not with a template.
I have tried before and it did not stick. Why would this be different?
Because almost nobody fails for lack of information. They fail on the week work explodes or someone gets sick. The coaching, the check-ins and having a coach who notices when you go quiet are built for exactly that week.
Will I be the least fit person there?
There's no group workout to keep up with. Up to six people train at once and every one of them is on a different program written for them, so there's nothing to fall behind in.
What if I cannot train three times a week?
Fit Reset needs three sessions a week for the eight weeks, and your Baseline is where we check that honestly. If you can't commit to three for that stretch we'll say so, rather than take your money and watch it not work. After Fit Reset most people move to Thrive 365, and training twice a week from there is completely normal. The three-a-week ask is for the eight weeks, not forever.
Do I need to know what I am doing?
No. Most people arrive having never lifted properly, and a coach is on the floor the entire session. Technique is taught, not assumed.
Areas we serve
The studio is on Queen Street East in The Beaches. These are the neighbourhoods people travel from.
Fifty-four in every hundred members live here, and most of them walk. The studio has been on this stretch of Queen Street East since 2013, long enough that people still find us by having walked past the window. Personal training in The Beaches.
Eighteen in every hundred members come down the Woodbine corridor, ten to fifteen minutes away. It is the second-largest group we have and the only one that is shrinking, which is worth saying out loud. Personal training in the Upper Beach.
The fastest-growing part of the membership: five in every hundred past clients, eleven in every hundred active ones. Twelve to eighteen minutes down Woodbine or Coxwell, and nobody was targeting it. Personal training in East York.
Eleven in every hundred members come west along Kingston Road. Eight to twelve minutes, steady for years and quietly growing, which for one studio matters more than a spike. Personal training in Birch Cliff.
